Hands Off My Internet, Revisited

In a prior post I called for the government to keep your hands off my internet.  Surprisingly, this did little to prevent the regulation from passing.

Now that I have stumbled across this little gem, delivered in a press conference by the Commerce Secretary, Gary Lock, I am prepared to repent and recant.

“Self-regulation without stronger enforcement is not enough. Consumers must trust the Internet in order for businesses to succeed online.”

Thankfully, it might just be possible to run a business online now.
