We recently received a gift of Brix Chocolate and a paired bottle of wine. The chocolate lives up to the brand, coming in brick form – with instructions on how to use the point of a knife to break off a piece.
Well, I did . . . and it’s incredible. This joy of darkness, so hard and brittle that it wants to shatter, felt liquid in my mouth.
Ours was paired with Chateau Recougne 2006. Now, as a rank amateur wine drinker, I have little training for comparison. However, I can say that a party broke out on my tongue.
I highly recommend it, to chocolate and wine lovers alike. I believe this is the best chocolate I have ever tasted.
